This segment delves into the ongoing political drama in Georgia surrounding the protection of girls’ sports and the state's budget. Burt Jones and Jon Burns are at odds, with Jon Burns attempting to steal the spotlight by introducing the Riley Gaines Act, undercutting Burt Jones’ original SB1 bill. Burns is accused of political maneuvering to weaken Jones’ influence, with Frontline and House members praising Burns’ actions. Meanwhile, the Georgia legislature is pushing forward a $40.5 billion midyear state budget that increases spending while offering only a small fraction back to taxpayers. A call for closer scrutiny of this budget, questioning whether lawmakers are truly conservative. Additionally, it highlights the controversy surrounding Colton Moore's arrest orders for Keith Williams, which raised issues about authority inside the Capitol and the jurisdiction of Capitol Police.

Burt Jones and Jon Burns were at the White House for the signing of the executive order to protect girls sports. Burt Jones was the first to present the bill to protect girls sports SB1. Riley Gaines and Frontline wanted their name on the bill. Greg Dolezal is carrying the bill for Lt Governor Burt Jones. It is ready to go and ready for a vote. Then the whole Colton Moore thing happened. Looking at the dates. Jon Burns ups up a bill called the Riley Gaines Act on Feb 4th to pull the carpet out from under Burt to invite the house members and Frontline to announce the House has a Riley Gaines Act. then have Frontline come to the podium to pat Jon Burns on the back and thank him. This morning we have the vote going on in the Senate for Girls Sports. We have another christian organization Georgia Faith and Freedom Coalition. SB1 will be the first on the block to be voted on today. Jon Burns is putting the knife in Burt Jones back and twisting it. Who in Georgia keeps putting Jon Burns name on the White House guest list when he should be kicked out of the Speaker of the House in Georgia. For years we have been asking for our lawmakers to protect our girls but why now? But you can’t talk to them about elections. The governor will sign the House bill and continue to stab Burt in the back.
The budget… House panel approves $40.5 billion midyear state budget. The GA fiscal year closes July 1st. The new bills go in on July 1. What they do in every legislative session they pass a bill for the next year. But the first thing they do is amend the last budget. They cannot outspend anticipated tax revenue. The July budget is an anticipated budget. Then the mid year is a budget adjustment, this year it was increased 4.4 billion with 2.7 billion from surplus. They are increasing spending with your money and give you just a fraction back. They will talk about tort reform and cutting your taxes and sending back your hard earned money. We need a team to study this budget because they are not conservatives. The budget is increasing.
The truth of Colton Moore sending out arrest orders for Keith Williams. It happened inside the Capitol, no law enforcement does not have authority inside the Capitol, only the Capitol Police. The Georgia Building Authority owns the building and the Capitol Police had jurisdiction to the five-mile radius around Capitol Square. Where the charges that were pressed on Colton Moore were pressed by Capitol Police.
