This tactic works on anything made of wood! Baseboards, stair cases, walls, chair legs, etc!! Always test your new stain or paint on an undisclosed location first to make sure it will match the original color.

In this video, I repair a foot rest underneath our breakfast table. The dog, during his puppy years, chewed it up pretty badly. We waited until he was done with that phase before making the repair!
