It’s been a long time since I last listened to One Day, and today felt like the right moment to revisit it. After the heartbreaking school shooting in Sweden, many lives were lost, and it’s a painful reminder of the darkness that sometimes takes over our world. Even though I believe that every human experience has meaning, that doesn’t make tragedies like this any less devastating.

This song also speaks to the internal wars we all face—whether it’s addiction, depression, or personal struggles. True peace begins within. We must become our own best friends and seek the light inside ourselves. Let’s hold on to hope.
