Car storage lot on Detroit's east side targeted twice in three days

At least two juveniles are in custody for the theft of multiple vehicles from a storage lot in Detroit early Friday morning. The theft occurred near the Jefferson North Assembly Plant on the city's east side. Police say it is the second time a theft has happened in that storage lot. There have been a number of thefts targeting FCA plants and lots. Police say thieves tried to steal new Chrysler Jeep Ram vehicles from the lot on Conner and Kercheval. Police found eight stolen vehicles.
