President Trump signed his "No Men in Women's Sports" executive order, which White House officials said would roll back guidance from the previous Biden administration on Title XI, a civil rights law prohibiting sex-based discrimination, to exclude transgender protections for students and require all athletes to compete with the sex they are assigned at birth. "With this executive order, the war on women's sports is over," President Trump said in his remarks. He was joined at the ceremony in the White House's East Room by a number of anti-trans activists, including Riley Gaines, a former collegiate swimmer and activist who worked to bar transgender athletes from participating in women's sports competitions.
