Rep. Ralph Norman: HALT Fentanyl Act will deliver harsher punishments to fentanyl dealers

Representative Ralph Norman (R-SC) says the House is set to vote this week on the HALT Fentanyl Act, a bill that will classify fentanyl as a schedule 1 drug and authorizes harsher penalties for fentanyl dealers and users. Rep. Norman says that while the bill should’ve been passed a long time ago, these new consequences will force drug traffickers to “think twice” about dealing fentanyl in the states.
