Trump’s Gaza Plans Suffer An Hamas Shaped SUCKER PUNCH!

Right, so the tangerine complexioned terror that passes for the President of the US, Donald Trump has now decided he wants to take over Gaza for the US and run it itself in another example of how the man’s stupidity can still actually surprise us, not to mention is yet another story of a land grab by the US, adding Gaza to a list that now includes Canada, Greenland and the Panama Canal. Just how many new states of the US does he want here?
He wants to relocate everyone in the Gaza Strip, he wants to build a Riviera of the Middle East and he wants the worlds people to live there afterwards, so no return for those that leave who he says cannot live there despite that being their land.
Where Trump is suffering from grand delusions and Benjamin Netanyahu is wondering how much his stake in this plan that has come out of nowhere, a friction burn between Trumps two brain cells that this plan is, will be, others have had plenty to say to the contrary, not least of which Hamas, who to no surprise whatsoever, are having none of it.
Right, so that was a short clip there of Donald Trump declaring that the US will take over the Gaza Strip and rebuild it into something beautiful, a Riviera of the Middle East as he has also said, not for the people of Gaza of course but for the people of the world apparently, only if you are rich enough I’ll bet. Prime Mediterranean real estate that he and his walking corpse of a son in law Jared Kushner can’t wait to get their tiny, grubby hands on. The way he talks about Gaza isn’t as the home of an oppressed people, but as a real estate venture, he sees Gaza not as the home of so many who have suffered genocide, but as a building site to be developed and he wants to be the one to do it, stood next to Benjamin Netanyahu, fidgeting with excitement like he’s got a nest of ants down his slacks, grinning inanely as Trump bleats that if he doesn’t do something, matters will go back to how they have been for 100 years. Well 100 years ago Israel didn’t exist, but we can’t expect little Donnie to know such things can we?
There were audible gasps in reaction to Trump’s move from amongst reporters, his talk of the same thing happening again and again though carries with it some pretty serious undertones.
Where Netanyahu was under pressure to agree to a ceasefire before Trump came into the Presidency again, Trump wanting the credit for doing what Biden, frankly could have done a year ago if he stopped selling weapons to Israel, but Trump has also assented to atrocities sparking up again as Netanyahu cannot allow phase 2 to pass as well, the hard right settler arm of his coalition government set to collapse his government should he attempt to and lets face he doesn’t want a longer ceasefire than he has to here, he’s avoided them completely for months, ruined ceasefire talks after ceasefire talks and it was only when Trump wanted credit for a ceasefire that he agreed to one.
But in a show of how shallow Trump was in that respect and how little different he is in practice to Genocide Joe before him, he’s just asked Congress to approve $1bn in arms sale to Israel, along with armoured bulldozers. Now where could Israel plan on using them except Gaza, the West Bank and possibly southern Lebanon as they are still attacking there as well instead of leaving and despite the ceasefire extension that got agreed there until the 18th of this month. Incredibly, it’s also being reported that Netanyahu is chasing trump for even more, still wanting the $8bn in arms Biden promised him, before he fell out of power. These are not the actions of men who want peace, but who want even more war.
There is, as you can imagine, absolute hell up going on in response to a plan for ethnic cleansing and rebuilding of Gaza not for the Gazan people, but for the worlds wealthy as seems to be the only way in my view of interpreting Trump’s comments, from the surrounding states and the rest of the world.
Egypt and Jordan have been reinforcing their refusal to accept the Palestinian people into their countries, despite Trump incessantly stating that they will take them. Where Egypt have been perhaps been happy to play nice with Netanyahu when it has suited them, aiding him and the Palestinian Authority to maintain control of the Rafah Border Crossing is one example, despite being in violation of peace accords between the two countries and Jordan has been playing Switzerland throughout, refusing to engage Israel in solidarity with Palestine, too US centric as they have become, and now they are in the position of Israel controlling 40% of their water supply with their invasion and occupation of southern Syria. Both nations have been too soft and now they are being pushed around because it is felt in my view that that can be pushed around. Them both saying we won’t take the people of Gaza now, to my mind it’s no surprise they are not being taken seriously.
Turkey have weighed in condemning Trump’s plans, saying that any plan that disregarded the Palestinians as this one does, regards them as an inconvenience to be swept away, will only escalate the conflict and my God if a fool like Erdogan can see this, it’s say it all for Trump’s intellectual capacity.
China has come out in opposition, they still back the two state solution, which to my mind is just unworkable when Israel will never accept it, the Israel project itself, a near 80 year failure as it increasingly is showing itself to be.
The Houthis in Yemen have reacted as well, they’ve downed tools since the ceasefire began, shipping resuming in the Red Sea, though they’re prepared to start up again should Israel return to genocide, have now stated that if Egypt and Jordan oppose this, they will stand in full support against the plan as well and when they oppose something, they tend to fire rockets about it these days in the general direction of Israel as they’ve become more and more capable of doing.
Hamas however have really gone for it though, a statement from Hamas politburo member Izzat al-Rishq published by The Cradle reading:
‘"Trump's statements about "controlling Gaza" reflect confusion and deep ignorance about Palestine and the region.
Gaza is not a common land for any party to decide to control, but rather it is part of our occupied Palestinian land, and any solution must be based on ending the occupation and achieving the rights of the Palestinian people, and not on the mentality of a real estate dealer, and the mentality of power and domination.
Trump's statements confirm once again the complete American bias with the Zionist occupation and aggression against our people and their legitimate rights.
Our Palestinian people and their living forces, supported by our Arab and Islamic nation and the free people of the world, will thwart all plans for displacement and deportation."’
Another statement from Palestinian Islamic Jihad has offered much the same narrative, but in even more vocal terms, saying:
‘In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful President Donald Trump, in his arrogance, has placed our people in the Gaza Strip before a single choice: displacement. He should remember that 15 months of relentless bombing, with 80,000 tons of American weaponry, failed to displace them. Does he now imagine that deceptive, racist statements wrapped in false humanity will achieve what bombs could not?! Our Palestinian people have always had the option of resistance, a path they have pursued for over a century—before Trump and after him. Indeed, it is a jihad of victory or martyrdom.’
The Palestinian people will not allow anyone to occupy their land. Trump is out of his tiny mind and if he’s looking for prime real estate going nowhere, empty space going begging, there seems to be an ever increasing expanse of it between his own ears.
If the US ever attempts what he’s said here things will get so much catastrophically worse in the Middle East, again totally avoidable and quite where things would end then, well, all I can say is there won’t be any room for bodies like the UN or other US centric or Israel-centric nations to look on, to still have their hands in their pockets looking on as spectators. The people of Gaza will not leave, they don’t want to leave and to force them would be ethnic cleansing. Trump is literally saying US boots will be put on the ground to do this, if Gaza is to become part of the US as he’s literally saying this surely becomes obvious? Will anyone in the US military refuse to be ordered to do this I wonder? Are you going to follow orders telling you to commit genocide? Don’t come back after saying you were just following orders though, because you know full well who did that before you don’t you?
This is the harm words can do. Words are harmful and Trump has done irreparable damage here, speaking the language of the occupier against the oppressed, seeking to oppress and displace them himself, joining in Netanyahu as a genocidaire and ethnic cleanser, there is no other way to consider the forcible removal of 1.8m people from Gaza – used to be 2.2m people in Gaza, 400,000 people unaccounted for despite a death toll of some 61,000 officially, square that number somebody. But how is Trump literally any different to Netanyahu himself based on rhetoric like this? He’s just going to do Netanyahu’s dirty work for him now, so it’s no wonder Netanyahu is smiling so broadly.
Maybe Gaza could turn to Mexico and Canada for help as they seem to know how to handle Trump, or at least they can in the tariff department. Where the global mainstream media has hailed Trump as a master business strategist where it comes to his tariffs, the reality is that Canada and Mexico have seen off his nonsense, gaining concessions for themselves in exchange for absolutely nothing and getting the tariffs kicked down the line into the bargain too!
