Jake’s story will restore your faith in humanity. 🙏 At 86, he follows the same routine—starting his day at church, meeting his children, and bringing a rose to his late wife’s grave. This summer, during a harsh drought, he made sure the grass around her resting place stayed green.

But then, he met a woman mourning her brother, an Air Force soldier who passed in 2010. Seeing her grief, Jake took on a new mission: caring for the soldier’s grave every day. Now, while watering, he speaks to Joseph as if he were family. When Joseph’s relatives visited, they were overwhelmed by a stranger’s unexpected love and devotion.
