0:17 - This hall has two power barriers in the NA version, whereas there's only one in the JP/EU version for whatever reason. That makes this team among the fastest teams for this stage as it's an extremely valuable shortcut, on par with Tails+Sonic and Cream+Sonic.

0:07 - This 5 ring box is actually pretty important, and is effectively free because of the block cycle right after - I need at least 10 rings to have enough air acceleration to jump off of the three rockets earlier than usual to save time. Honestly I could've jumped off of them even earlier than this video shows. This is another benefit from doing this IL on the JP/EU version, as air acceleration is more impactful than in the NA version.
