In Episode 10 of our Magnum 35' Sport Restoration Series, we take you inside the intricate revival of the Magnum's cabin liner, a testament to our commitment to restoring classic beauty with unmatched precision and integrity.

The restoration challenge was formidable. The cabin's original interliner—encompassing floors, galley, restroom, bed area, and seating—had succumbed to the ravages of time. The fiberglass was brittle, and the core had vanished into dust. Our mission: to resurrect it from its ashes.

The process was nothing short of surgical. We painstakingly removed the deteriorated liner, preserving just two original laminates, then embarked on a re-lamination that mirrored the original craftsmanship. A new composite of foam and wood was introduced, enveloped in fiberglass, echoing the boat's initial structural genius.

But our dedication didn't end there. We sealed this reborn structure with gel coat, preparing it for its grand reinsertion. The exterior received equal attention—stripped to its essence, primed with epoxy, and layered with high-quality paint and clear coat, each step interspersed with meticulous sanding for perfection.

Reintegrated into the Magnum, the cabin liner now stands as both a structural cornerstone and a historical tribute, meticulously bonded to ensure seamless unity with the vessel's essence.
