It was time to revisit The Unforgiven and reflect on my childhood—acknowledge what happened, think deeply about it, and leave it where it belongs: in the past. This song is incredibly powerful, showing how we can become trapped in our own minds, living in fear and suffering. Metallica captures the darker side of the human experience in both the lyrics and the visuals. But we don’t have to stay in that place.
