ONIMUSHA: WAY OF THE SWORD - MESSAGE FROM THE DEVELOPERS

Capcom has announced "Onimusha: Way of the Sword," the first new installment in the Onimusha series in nearly two decades. Set in early Edo-period Kyoto, the game plunges players into a dark fantasy world where samurai confront supernatural threats. The city has been transformed by a malevolent force known as Malice, leading to an infestation of demonic creatures called Genma. Players will assume the role of a lone samurai equipped with the mystical Oni Gauntlet, engaging in intense, blood-soaked combat against these otherworldly adversaries. "Onimusha: Way of the Sword" is scheduled for a worldwide release in 2026 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
