Fantastic Four Trailer Reaction: Marvel's Last Chance

The most important film Marvel releases this year got its first trailer and it did a lot of good, mitigated a lot of the bad, but ultimately underwhelmed. Getting Pedro Pascal out of Hollywood cannot happen fast enough, but he was hardly the biggest problem with the first look at Fantastic Four: First Steps.

The Thing looks good, sort of. The Human Torch is a bit off. The Invisible Woman is a standout and who let John Malkovich wander on set? Cool seeing Galactus, but why is Disney hiding the female Silver Surfer? We will see if this is a boom or bust this July. Perhaps this is the savior the MCU needs, or maybe it's too little, too late.
