A huge Transformer & Mountain ram welcome visitors to Las Vegas: Overlooking the freeway in silence

One of the most obscure yet high profile places in Las Vegas is this vacant lot, home to two large scale works of art, next to one another, that are majestic in person and stand like silent sentinels over State Route 171, the Harry Reid Airport connector highway. The only sounds are cars rushing by below and airplanes passing by overhead after takeoff. In the part of the lot directly fronting Sunset Road is another Transformer- both are likely related to a large special effects studio/soundstage business nearby.
