The Innocents (1961)

Directed by Jack Clayton, based on Henry James’ novella The Turn of the Screw. Deborah Kerr stars as Miss Giddens, a governess who takes charge of two orphaned children at a remote English estate. As she settles in, she becomes convinced that the children are being influenced by the malevolent spirits of former servants.
