Better Half, the 2023 romance movie produced by Ruth Kadiri and starring Uche Montana and Chidi Dike, dives headfirst into a love story that transcends age and societal norms. There's no proper introduction to the characters, and the history of the relationship between the two main characters remains ambiguous. The "why," "what," and "how" questions are all but skipped over, leaving the audience in a state of confusion.

The story begins with Kanye being interrogated by a girl named Bella, who is obsessed with him, in a school parking lot. After an unwanted kiss from Bella, Kanye's attention quickly shifts to Sia, the teacher he secretly adores. Following classes, Sia expresses concern that her mysterious long-distance lover hasn't called her all day. It's then that she finally receives a call from her "man," who turns out to be Kanye.
