ANOTHER Warner Bros. Gaming FAIL! Multiversus Shuts Down, Loses $100M

Warner Bros. Games has another shutdown on their hands with Multiversus closing down at the end of May. Joining the dustbin of irrelevance alongside Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, the underperformance of the Super Smash Bros. clone helped contribute to Warner's gaming division taking massive tax write downs and losing somewhere north of $300 Million in 2024.

Several franchises were tarnished last year in gaming under the WB umbrella, but as a studio, very few fared worse and continue to operate in 2025. Can they turn it around before it's too late?
