In the middle of Java, the most populated island in Indonesia, is a mysterious ancient monument - Borobudur, the largest Buddhist temple in the world!

Built about 1,200 years ago but abandoned and forgotten with the turning of politics and religion, Borobudur was rediscovered by the outside world in 1814 by Stamford Raffles, British governor of the former Dutch East Indies and founder of Singapore.
