Stephen M. Vantassel, host of the Wildlife Control Consultant Podcast, discusses how quickly anticoagulant rodenticides kill house mice, Norway rats, and roof rats. Stephen explains the differences between first generation anticoagulants (warfarin, chlorophacinone, and diphacinone) and second generation anticoagulants (brodifacoum, difethialone, difenacoum, bromadiolone). He cites research showing that second generation anticoagulants despite being significantly more toxic don't kill rodents that much faster than first generation anticoagulants.
