Theory Busted! The tabernacle was NEVER an airport terminal!

Despite the theories that suggest the tabernacle was an airport terminal or an airport hanger because of it's dome shape - it never served such a purpose. The painted SALT LAKE AIRPORT letters and arrow served as a landmark for pilots. That's a pretty logical and practical thing to do when early aviation didn't have navigation and radar... Not so weird now, aye?
