The Call to be Always Reforming

When the Reformation began, the Reformers didn’t intend to start new denominations. They say serious heresy in essential doctrines of the faith and their intent was to call Rome to correct them. False beliefs, deception, and false teachings are not really anything new; they began in the Garden of Eden and have continued pretty much unabated since that time. Dr. Donald Williams writes, “One of the slogans of the Reformation that is often forgotten is that the church should be semper reformata, always reformed, because it is semper reformanda, always reforming.”
