I am blessed to see Free Live late in 1969 and 3 times in 1970.
Paul Rogers - Vocals later to join Bad Company
Paul Kossoff - Guitar (Deceased)
Andy Fraser - Bass Guitar (Deceased)
Simon Kirke - Drums later to join Bad Company
They played in front of hundreds of thousands of people at the Isle of Wight Festival in 1970, and there I was, maybe 40 feet away from the stage.
Strange hearing these echoes from a distant but well-loved past.
