Isaiah 66:2 New King James Version
2 For all those things My hand has made, And all those things exist,” Says the Lord. “But on this one will I look: On him who is poor and of a contrite spirit, And who trembles at My word.

GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA MY FRIENDS!!! Ricky and I just got back from a follow up visit to the doctor concerning his ER visit over a week ago, and praise God everything went well. What they are going to do is put him on a medication to help prevent the gout from happening/flaring up again, and I'm also looking into something called turmeric. Does anyone have any input on that?

As I was reading not only this morning scripture, but also this morning's devotional, it brought back some very tender memories of people that I knew at First Baptist Church of Easton, people who had special needs children that we're very precious to me, and I have to say I miss them. I was also deeply saddened and disturbed by the fact that those children, who had obvious physical special needs issues, were treated like gold by the very person that physically abused my special needs brothers, and I think it was because of a social status issue. Ironically, the last couple of years that we were in that church, the one particular family never came back, and I wonder why. I guess that's why I was so challenged by what I was reading out of God's word this morning. What Xochitl was saying about how we are called by God to not only look kindly on, but behave kindly toward others, especially those who are “different” from us. The discarded, the invisible, the “defects” among us. After all, Jesus hung out with the worst of the lot, but also He valued children, and those who had that childlike faith. That's why tonight, my friends, I'd like to share some things that God showed me out of this morning scripture, as well as many other verses of scripture on this very issue, through this vlog I'd like to share with all of you tonight, and I pray that what I share with you challenges you to think about how you treat others, but to know also that God loves the truly lowly and humble. Come join me in this vlog tonight my friends and learn this precious truth for yourself! 😊

So, my friends comment as I close this post with all of you tonight, I want to leave you with these questions from this morning's devotional, and I pray that they help you understand how important it is to make sure that you are asking God to help you look kindly on as well as behave kindly toward others.

How does remembering you’re lowly in comparison to God change the way you see others?

How can you show love to those in your community with disabilities?

I pray tonight that you truly think about what I've said on this issue, and that you ask God to show you how you can show love to those in your community, especially those with disabilities. To those who are discarded, treated as “defects”, and ask God to help you to not only look kindly on them, but behave kindly toward them. After all, we are all created in God's image, and how God looks kindly on us when we humble ourselves before Him.

UNTIL TUESDAY:

HAVE A MAGNIFICENTLY BLESSED EVENING IN CHRIST JESUS!!!
