Musk Says USAID Is A ‘Criminal Organization’

USAID Senior Officials put on Leave after Physically Trying to stop DOGE from accessing Agency Systems

Two USAID officials, John Voorhees and his deputy, were put on leave late Saturday night for refusing to allow DOGE members access to USAID systems and physically blocked them from getting the information they were authorized to have per President Donald Trump.

The DOGE members threatened to call the police after being refused entry.

USAID employs about 10,000 people, excluding contractors, with 2/3 of them stationed overseas.

60 USAID members were already put on leave last week after trying to circumvent President Trump’s executive order on stopping foreign aid.

The Department of Government Efficiency, run Elon Musk, has been ordered to find ways to reduce government waste, fraud and overspending.
