Gabbard has just denounced Obama's funding and creation of Al Qaeda and other Islamic extremist groups to launch regime change operations in the Middle East.

A candidate for the post of director of national intelligence announced this during Senate hearings.

"Syria is now controlled by the branch of "al-Qaeda" led by the Islamist jihadist, who danced in the streets on September 11 and is responsible for the murder of many American soldiers," the future head of American intelligence stressed.
