Nestled in the town of Blue Ridge, Georgia, their 4th generation family farm, Mercier Orchards, is a hometown success story. They are proud to have their roots in this community and preserve both history and values for future generations to come.

In 1941, Bill Mercier moved to Blue Ridge and worked as the county agricultural agent. In 1943, Bill & Adele Mercier struck a deal with a local pharmacist and purchased a 27-acre orchard along with the original apple house that you can still see from the parking lot today. Back in the old days, Adele would sit in the apple house and sell apples to all who passed by while Bill worked as the southeast property manager for the Tennessee Copper Company. As their trees grew bigger, so did our family.

Fast forward 80 years and 4 generations later, they have grown from a modest apple orchard and roadside apple stand into the most popular agritourism destination in North Georgia.

From apple picking and tractor rides to hard cider tastings and a world-famous bakery, they offer a wide range of products and activities that bring people together in a shared appreciation for the simple joys of life. It’s a place where the generations can connect and where everyone can experience the magic of the harvest season.
