India women life the "ICC U19 WOMEN'S T20 WORLD CUP"

India U19 Women's team won the "ICC U19 Women's T20 World Cup 2025"at Bayuemas Oval, Kuala Lumpur.
In this match South Africa women won the toss and opted to bat first.The Indian bowlers proved their decision to bat first wrong by bowling them out at paltry score of 82 runs in their allotted 20 overs.
No Batswomen could withstand the bowling of Indian bowlers and 7 Batswomen could not make it to double digit.
Mieke van Voorst top scored with 23 runs, Jemma Botha made 16 runs, Fay Cowling made 15 runs and Karabo Meso contributed 10 runs.
For India Gongadi Trisha took 3 wickets, two wickets each were taken by Parunika Sisodia, Aayushi Shukla and Vaishnavi Sharma. One wicket went to Shabnam Shakil.
Chasing modest total of 83 runs to win, India U19 women scored 84 runs for loss of one wicket only in 11.2 overs and won the match by 9 wickets.
The only wicket fell was G. Kamalini who made 8 runs was caught by Simone Lourens of the bowling of Kayla Reyneke. Gongadi Trisha remained not out on 44 runs from 33 balls hitting 8 fours and Sanika Chalke not out on 26 runs from 22 balls hitting 4 fours.
India women easily achieved the target and defeated South Africa women by 9 wickets.
Gongadi Trisha was adjudged Player of the Match as well as Player of the Tournament.
