Great Sortation to turn violent?

President Donald J. Trump has lost no time in addressing several dire problems his predecessor created. One is the Great Migrant Crisis, which implies the replacement of America’s traditional electorate with “citizens of the Earth.” The other is the transformation of the FBI into – or its exposure as – a Soviet- or Warsaw Pact-style enforcement apparatus. But in his zeal to address both, Trump has exposed more than the Deep State. He has exposed totalitarian leftist tendencies by “blue State” governments. They want the Great Replacement, and they likely resent the housecleaning at and of the FBI. And many of their leaders – and friends in the federal government – are advocating worse than disobedience of Presidential orders. They are advocating summary executions of their own residents who support the new America First order. The battle lines happen to coincide with those of the Great Sortation. That could result in civil war.
Cleanup at the FBI and DOJ
Reform of the FBI clearly will require more than hiring a Director (Kash Patel) with a new broom. “Lifers” at the FBI knew that the hunters would become the hunted with the nomination of Patel. So did many “spooks” not in the FBI, but part of the Deep State. With his appointment, they clearly feared a purge.
Now that purge is happening. Yesterday, CNAV took note of an order to fire several very senior officers, called Executive Assistant Directors. Six EADs received notices to clean out their desks and hand in their resignations by Monday (February 3). If this did not happen, FBI Acting Director Brian Driscoll would fire them. These six EADs turn out to be the entire EAD cadre. That represents the entire second tier of leadership at the FBI. The additional firing of 25 Special Agents in Charge – including the head of the Washington, D.C. Field Office – completes the purge.
All these officials “just followed orders” in the investigation and prosecution of Trump, including the Mar-A-Lago Raid. The Washington Field Office head “oversaw” the investigation of the January 6 Event. This includes whoever planted pipe bombs at both major Party national headquarters.
Yesterday, Acting D.C. United States Attorney Ed Martin fired thirty prosecutors who prosecuted most January 6 defendants. Among other things, they charged them with “obstructing an official proceeding,” under a financial-criminal statute. The Supreme Court ultimately vacated all such cases. Fischer v. United States, 603 U.S. ___ (2024).
Looking for specific January 6 investigators
Also yesterday, Acting Director Driscoll sent an email around, detailing another order he received from the Acting Deputy Attorney General. Here, according to Brian Lupo at The Gateway Pundit, is that email:
We understand there's a lot of media reporting and rumors surrounding potential changes at the FBI. This includes reporting and rumors about actions very seriously impact our workforce. Consistent with our commitment to share information with you as we receive it, acting Deputy Director Kissane and I wanted to provide you with an update.
Late this afternoon, I received a memo from the acting Deputy Attorney General notifying me that eight senior FBI executives are to be terminated by specific dates, unless these employees have retired beforehand. I have been personally in touch with each of these impacted employees. The memo also directs me to provide by noon on Tuesday, Feb. 4, the following:
“All current and former FBI personnel assigned at any time to investigations and/or prosecutions relating to:
(1) events that occurred at or near the United States Capitol on January 6, 2021; and
(2) United States v Haniyeh, et al. 24 Mag. 438 (S.D.N.Y).
“These lists should include relevant supervisory personnel in FBI regional offices and field divisions, as well as at FBI headquarters. For each employee included in the list, provide the current title, office to which the person is assigned, role in the investigation or prosecution, and date of last activity relating to the investigation or prosecution. Upon timely receipt of the requested information, the Office of the Deputy Attorney General will commence a review process to determine whether any additional personnel actions are necessary.”
We understand that this request encompasses thousands of employees across the country who have supported these investigative efforts. I am one of those employees, as is acting Deputy Director Kissane. As we've said since the moment we agreed to take on these roles, we are going to follow the law, follow FBI policy, and do what's in the best interest of the workforce and the American people – always. We will be back in touch with more information as soon as we can. In the meantime, stay safe, and take care of each other.
The non-January-6 case which that memo lists, arises out of the October 7, 2023 Negev Massacre. Several Americans died in that raid, thus occasioning a Stateside criminal case filing. Why Trump or his new acting deputies have taken an interest in that case, is not clear. Haniyeh and three of his codefendants are now deceased, killed-in-action by the Israel Defense Forces.
According to Lupo, the major point of contention is that the FBI pulled many agents away from child sex-trafficking and other violent-criminal investigations, and assigned them to investigate January 6 subjects instead.
This week, the FBI has suffered two more embarrassments. During Kash Patel’s confirmation hearing, new Interim Senator Ashley Moody (R-Fla.), now holding Mario Rubio’s old seat, accused the FBI and CIA of interfering with Florida’s own investigation of the second assassination attempt against Trump. In another case, the FBI is stalling the release of evidence in the 2016 murder of Democrat operative Seth Rich.
All this indicates that the FBI has indeed been running interference for the Democratic Party – for nearly nine years. The January 6 and Seth Rich cases all come down to: what did key Democrats know, and when did they know it? That might also apply to advance knowledge of the Negev Massacre that began the Fourth Arab-Israeli War.
Great Sortation implications: how Red and Blue States handle the migrant crisis
These revelations about the FBI couldn’t have come at a worse time. They indicate that the FBI must stay on the sidelines at a critical time for the United States. President Trump declared a national emergency along the U.S.-Mexican border. He also turned the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) force loose to round up every criminal alien in the country.
Texas, of course, agreed to cooperate fully with ICE. Mississippi has placed bounties on the heads of these criminal aliens. Tennessee has passed a law to assist federal authorities in any immigration crackdown.
But the governments of Illinois and its largest city, Chicago, are defying Trump’s orders. Gov. J. B. Pritzker (D-Ill.) and Mayor Brandon Johnson (D-Chicago) both refuse to turn over suspects in State prisons and city jails who have ICE detainers on them. The Illinois Legislature has passed and sent to the governor a law allowing illegal migrants to change their names to evade arrest and deportation. This same Gov. Pritzker signed an order refusing to hire any January 6 pardon or commutation recipient for State work. Similarly, the Attorney General of Maryland is refusing cooperation with ICE. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, in her second press briefing yesterday, agreed with The Gateway Pundit’s Jordan Conradson that these officials are breaking federal law.
Up close and personal
Kristi Noem, new Secretary of Homeland Security, might have problems of her own with insubordination. James O’Keefe announced results of an undercover sting against DHS employees planning to disobey her orders. He will release those results on Monday, “out of respect” for the victims of a mid-air collision involving an American Eagle flight landing at Reagan Airport.

But worse news has come from Blue States. A trend began on TikTok of leftist women fantasizing about engaging ICE agents in close hand-to-hand combat. An apparent ordinary Democrat voter, Tyler Levesque of Albuquerque, New Mexico, made “credible threats” against Trump early in January. Police, with FBI agents in tow, arrested him – on January 6, 2025. He is now under federal indictment.
Off-color statements by “ordinary citizens” are bad enough. But Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.), House Democratic Leader, talked of fighting the President’s agenda “in the streets.”

Worse, the Chairman of the Lenawee County (Michigan) Democratic Party, Bill Swift, actually called for death sentences against Trump supporters. He shared remarks to that effect to X, then deleted them – but not before someone took screencaps of them.
See, this is the problem. Anybody who is trying to make Donald Trump King is a traitor who should be hanged by the neck until dead…
We’ve been consistent about this before the election. Presidents are not Kings and anybody trying to make a president a king is a domestic enemy of the Republic and a traitor who deserves the full measure of punishment as outlined in the Constitution of the United States.

Deletions or no, he repeated his remarks on local talk radio. He then went on an unhinged rant about the ICE raids, and the Supreme Court’s delivery of a primer on Presidential immunity. He finished with this:
The reason that I am making these statements out there is it’s the last dance for people that have decided that they’re going to embrace or apologize for or ignore what’s happening, this Nazi takeover of our country.
How this relates to the Great Sortation
Almost three years ago, CNAV called attention to the Great Sortation – the result of the Red and Blue Divide. Among the causes of the Red and Blue Divide, ordinary leftists can’t have a civil conversation with conservatives. Notice that all the instances of defiance of Trump’s orders, and all the calls for political violence, have come from blue States.
Today the Democrats made people’s perception of them worse. They elected Ken Martin, leader of Minnesota’s Democratic Party chapter, as national Chairman. He was merely the most skilled fundraiser in a field of far-left people who declare that all who vote against them are racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, etc. (Which shows how much they know, because Trump did not win with an all straight white “cis” male cadre.) And of course, Martin doubled down:
We have one team, the Democratic Party, and we have one fight. The fight’s not in here, it’s out there. The fight right now is against Donald Trump and the billionaires who bought this country.
He said nothing about the calls for violence and disobedience from Democratic areas – nor about Democratic failures of governance. One of their cities has crippling crime but won’t let ICE remove those responsible. Another city has burned almost to its foundations – from fires that homeless people carelessly set. But Democrats’ answer is to blame Trump – and Republican voters.
The Great Sortation continues
Make no mistake – the Great Sortation continues to work itself out. Though all areas of the country saw rightward shifts, Blue States are doubling down on … Blueness. As a result, people are moving out of Blue States and into Red. Once again, the U-Haul Truck Finder shows that it costs three times as much to move from Los Angeles to New Braunfels, Texas, as the other way.
Battleground States might “flip Red,” if they haven’t already. But solid Blue States will get even more solidly Blue. That’s what drives the Great Sortation: people move out of Blue States, but they don’t move in. Not unless they’re going to Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Brown, Dartmouth, Columbia, Cornell, Stanford, Northwestern, and other Blue State U’s. And even that might not last. One can as easily go to Rice (Houston, Texas) and the one Ivy League college in a battleground State, UPenn. Jobs in Blue States? That won’t last, either. And with calls for political violence, Blue denizens might chase conservatives out. New York especially has a compromised court system that has done everything but make ex post facto and bill-of-attainder-like rulings.
What next?
If that’s how the Great Sortation continues, it will not end well. Already Californians can gather signatures for a petition to create a secession study committee. California might split into eastern and western halves – and Oregon East of the Cascades wants to join Idaho. For that matter, western Maryland wants to join West Virginia. (Hawaii might as well become an independent Kingdom again.)
If the Great Sortation proves non-contiguous, then expect a Blue State police force to try to confiscate firearms from motorists passing through. Will that result in a Second Shot Heard ‘Round the World? Stay tuned.
