James 1:5 (NASB95)
But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

Both good and evil people are intelligent. However, wise people are always good.
Intelligence is a motor, but wisdom is like a compass guiding you in the right direction.
Skill is to intelligence as authenticity is to wisdom.
Do your best and let God do the rest. Lead by example. Simply communicate the truth as you see it and you will be original as the byproduct.
Don't be fake and permanently alter or cover up your flaws.
Simply put on display the natural beauty, gifts, and talent God gave you. Play the hand God dealt you and don't envy the cards dealt to someone else.
Less is more. Quality over quantity.

Don't try to erase the past, but try to reinterpret it using newly discovered truths to turn what was previously perceived to be trash into an epiphany of newly realized value.
You don't have to create everything from scratch. Don't be afraid to build on the
foundation of previous classics and legends. It is not plagiarism to build upon the past as long as you add something new and put your unique spin on it.

The whole is greater than the sum of the parts. Don't be afraid to incorporate elements of past art into future art. Don't be afraid to foreshadow your plans for future art in your present art.
Don't be afraid to learn from the innocence, imagination, honesty [i.e. the emperor has no clothes], and simplicity you had as a child.
The past is not obsolete and there is always something that can be learned from it and elements to be admired and incorporated into the future.

Always try to preserve the best of the old and augment it with the best of the new.

Try to make everything as simple as possible, but it should be only just complex enough to accomplish your purpose.
Simplicity resonates with more people and complexity is conceded if it is not
accomplishing a purpose or goal.

Don't listen to the criticisms of people you would not want to share a meal with. Their opinions don't matter. Don't allow critics to bully you into apologizing over something subjective. Always try to be true to what you know now and correct your objective mistakes as you learn new truths.

Don't be afraid to be mentored by past classics and legends.
Don't be afraid to mentor new rising stars. They are not your competition.

Don’t be afraid to utilize all 7 of your senses…your sense of sound, sense of sight, sense of smell, sense of taste, sense of touch, your sense of balance, and your sense of humor.

Sarcasm and irony are divine attributes of humor God has instilled in you when He created you in His image and likeness.
Zechariah 11:13 (NASB95)
Then the LORD said to me,
"Throw it to the potter, that MAGNIFICENT price at which I was valued by them." So I took the thirty shekels of silver and threw them to the potter in the house of the LORD.
1 Corinthians 1:27 (NASB95) but God has chosen the foolish things of the world to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to shame the things which are strong,
Psalm 37:13 (NASB95)
The Lord laughs at him, For He sees his day is coming.

The Lord Jesus Christ knew how to insult prideful people and to receive love for humble people.
Don't be afraid to land an insult on a prideful person who deserves it. Don't be afraid to receive love from your most humble fans.
Matthew 3:7 (NASB95)
But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming for baptism, he said to them, "You brood of vipers, who warned you to flee from the wrath to come?
Luke 7:39 (NASB95)
Now when the Pharisee who had invited Him saw this, he said to himself, "If this man were a prophet He would know who and what sort of person this woman is who is touching Him, that she is a sinner."
Luke 7:45 (NASB95)
"You gave Me no kiss; but she, since the time I came in, has not ceased to kiss My feet.
