A Fun Event Helping Community Policing Programs
6 years ago
8
The Cops and Kids Foundation helps police departments connect to the communities they serve through special service programs. They put together fun events, pairing cops and children in the community, to help them see police officers as friends and helpful resources. Joining us to discuss their largest fundraiser, Run with Blue 5K/2 Mile Walk, are the president of the Cops and Kids Foundation, Retired Officer Bob Kraemer, and Captain Jeff Knop from the Menomonee Falls PD. The Run with Blue 5K and Walk from the Cops and Kids Foundation is happening Saturday, September 29 at 8:30am, starting at Village Bowl in Menomonee Falls. For more information, visit CopsAndKidsFoundation.org. Use the code Blue5K to receive a $5 discount on registration!
