16-year-old Sean Simpson had a meltdown in court when District Court Judge John Greenlee denied his bond and told him he might never see the light of day again.

Simpson started screaming, crying and had to be held up by the courtroom bailiffs.

Police charged the teenager with first-degree murder & attempted first degree murder after they say he shot and killed Zaquavious "Tank" Dawkins, and tried to kill another teen who was with Dawkins in a drive by shooting.

Dawkins – who is also 16 - was walking to a store to pick up items for his disabled mother when it happened.
Family members say the two got into an altercation last year that they thought had been resolved.
Dawkins grandmother said the senseless act of violence took the life of an honor roll student, a player on the varsity football team and a good kid who did his best to take care of his disabled mother.
Dawkins aunt said she’s heartbroken adding she felt bad about the court hearing but “Your out here doing big boy things. This is what's going to happen."
