Ep. 238 I finally watched NOSFERATU… A MASTERPIECE in FiLmMaKiNg! Bloody BRILLIANT!

FORGIVE ME folks! This is a bit of a “time travel” episode… But I, Spot of Nerd, was finally able to watch #nosferatu and by George was it a MASTERPIECE in filmmaking!

Yes, it technically is a 2024 film… But due to me just being me… Well, I am now just seeing it… And I would 1000% encourage ya’ll to watch it as well. Trust me on this! Trust me like your life depends on it! In a film making/REVIEW sort of way… LOL!

It brings style and class the likes of which we haven’t seen on screen in a very long time… Being able to delve into the VAMPIRIC ways of fiction, all the while melding a cast of truly remarkable individuals that bring their A-GAMES in hopes to no doubt be getting AWARDS left and right for their roles in this movie!

Jokes aside, it reminded me of the old-school show on HBO #trueblood. Though now considered a ‘SILLY’ interpretation of the world of fantastical creatures, what it did do right was provide you with REAL vampire HORROR without needing to literally drip BLOOD from every corner of the screen… In fact, the way it was shot (filmed) was PERFECTION in stylizing the original black and white footage into today’s modern, likely 4K or higher definition screen input… Absolutely EPIC!

It’s currently streaming on most platforms and you still might get lucky with seeing it at your local theater. When you do, I’d love to know your thoughts, so tell me in the COMMENTS!
