U.S. Marines from Marine Aviation Weapons and Tactics Squadron One install mock ordnance and refuel an F-35B Lightning II aircraft during a distributed short take-off/vertical landing operation as part of Weapons and Tactics Instructors Course 1-25 on October 3, 2024, at Laguna Army Airfield in Arizona. The WTI course is a seven-week training event conducted by MAWTS-1 that emphasises operational integration of the six roles of Marine aviation in support of the Marine Air Ground Task Force, Joint, and Coalition Forces (USMC video by Cpl. Brian Bullard).
