The 2018 Greater Milwaukee Heart and Stroke Walk
Kelsey Gumm was a Petty Officer in the Navy. She first passed out during boot camp after a tough workout. For 10 years, doctors thought it was due to dehydration, exhaustion, or anxiety. Eventually Kelsey found out she had heart disease and needed a pacemaker/defibrillator. Kelsey joins us with a message for all of us to take charge of our health and speak up if something doesn't feel right. Kelsey will be the honored "Hero with a Heart" as part the 2018 Greater Milwaukee Heart & Stroke Walk to benefit the American Heart Association. She is joined by volunteer Harris Turer. The 2018 Greater Milwaukee Heart and Stroke Walk/5K Run takes place Saturday, September 29 at Veterans Park. The 5K run starts at 8am, the walk starts at 10am.
