Two US Military-Involved Flight Incidents in Just Two Days

Late last night an American Airlines jet carrying 64 passengers collided with a Black Hawk army helicopter near Reagan National Airport in Washington, DC. Unfortunately, none of the passengers are expected to have survived, and apparently just a day before that, an F-35 fighter jet crashed at an Alaskan Air Force base, thankfully, in this case, the pilot survived, but what the heck’s going on here? Two military-involved flight incidents in two days is wild, and on top of that, back to the Black Hawk incident from last night, my buddy sent me this post on X where this guy found a recent Lockheed Martin demonstration where a Black Hawk helicopter supposedly flies itself. Now, of course, that could have nothing to do with it, but it certainly is interesting timing. I’m not 100% sure what to make of all this; let me know y’all’s thoughts down in the comments and I will see you in the next one. Peace!
