DOJ Mulls Dropping Case Against NYC Eric Adams

Senior Justice Department officials under President Trump have discussed with federal prosecutors in Manhattan the possibility of dropping the corruption case against New York Mayor Eric Adams.

Adams, indicted in September on charges including bribery and fraud, has pleaded not guilty, claiming political prosecution.

Recently, he has cultivated a relationship with Trump, who has suggested he may issue a pardon.

Despite discussions between the Justice Department and Adams’ legal team, there is no indication that the case will be dropped, though new charges could still be forthcoming, DNYUZ has reported.
