THM 350 Gearbox Tail Shaft Gets New Bushing & Seal. Welding Rear Bearing To The Axle Shaft.

Powder coating the tail shaft makes it not only look great but the seals slide in easier and should give a better seal. Having a press just makes this so nice and having a wheel bearing remove/install kit gives the metal disk that make pressing "things" in far easier. I started the process of welding the bearing to the axle shaft to fill the gap. Using small strips of foil tape to align the inner bearing to the shaft before tack welding to keep the heat down and hopefully not warp or slag up the ball bearings or races. We'll see....
