On August 14, 2024, Republic of Korea Marines assigned to 1st Reconnaissance Battalion, 1st ROK Marine Division, and U.S. Marines assigned to Reconnaissance Company, 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, train for tactical insertion and small boat tactics at Dogu Beach, South Korea. Through bilateral, cooperative training, integrated training between the two nations enhances the ROK-US Alliance and advances their combined capabilities to defend the Korean Peninsula. (Cpl.
