We don't really need to use Mouse Pads any more, a decent quality optical mouse should work on almost any surface but a mouse pad can still be useful to protect the desk and to give a smooth surface to work on.

My old mouse pad was getting scruffy and a bit battered around the edges and I looked around for a new one big enough to cover the working area of my desk. As a a Mac user, I quite liked the idea of having a list of all the Mac operating system shortcuts readily to hand and I liked the overall look of this rather unusual mouse pad.

This mousepad is large, slightly smaller might have suited me better, at 90 x 40 cm and a chunky 3 mm thick. I can confirm that the anti-slip base works well and that once positioned the mat shows no signs of moving around. The printing quality is excellent, with uniform print quality an colours across the whole surface, the edges are stitched and show no sign so far of curling up, as my last pad did. I am very happy with the build quality and construction. Using the mouse pad as a reference tool for the shortcuts printed on it does work but it can be a bit confusing working your way through the mass of quite densely printed information. That said, if you are looking for a Mac shortcut, it will be there, somewhere.

This is an excellent mousepad. It is well made and has a striking and unusual design. Just bear in mind that may well be too wide for your desk, so check the size before purchasing. For the current Amazon price of just £14.00, I think it is an excellent buy.
