Federal Funding Freeze Still In Effect, Memo Rescinded Not Executive Order

President Trump set the record straight on the federal funding freeze – after the confusion that was stirred up by the media when the freeze was issued and after Trump’s budget office rescinded the memo detailing the freeze saying his order is still in effect. The federal freeze does not affect Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid or other individual assistance programs.
