Peyman Askari is a proud Canadian who believes it's time for all of us to start giving back to the country we love. He’s passionate about the power of individual freedom, the importance of classical liberal values, and the benefits of a free market.
Peyman’s journey started in Iran, but Canada has been home since he was six years old. Growing up in West Vancouver, he later earned a degree in Computer Science from York University in 2006. He didn’t stop there—he went on to get a PhD in Computational Neuroscience from Southampton University in 2010. After that, he dived into the tech world, worked in sales and business development, and then took the plunge to start his own company in 2014.
Living in Vancouver since 2015, Peyman started noticing changes that made life tougher for regular folks. Whether it was bike lanes replacing vital infrastructure, more parking meters popping up, or strict new rules for condo renovations, it all seemed to make things harder, not easier. Then, in 2020, things really escalated. But the tipping point for Peyman came in February 2022, when the government announced plans to expand financial oversight to include cryptocurrencies. That’s when Peyman knew it was time to step up and fight for the freedoms that brought his family to Canada in the first place.
