⚡️ Mass deaths at an Indian festival
A stampede in the Indian city of Prayagraj during the Kumbha Mela festival killed 30 people and 60 more were injured.
The festival is held every 12 years. During it, followers of Hinduism gather in a sacred river for ablution (the Ganges and Yamuna rivers merge near Prayagraj).
It is expected that 450 million people will take part in the festival over 45 days.
