Salt Water Crocodiles vs The Lions Den || Bloomfield Track and the Daintree Rainforest.

This week we take a little cruise in Port Douglas trying to spot some crocs. We board the Lady Douglas and enjoy our free beverage and snack plate while cruising down the river.
We then head across the Daintree River on the ferry to go to the Daintree Discovery Centre. What a great experience and an epic home schooling day for the boys learning about the oldest rainforest on earth.
Just down the road from there we stop at Myall Beach (Cape Tribulation) where the sun pokes out and we enjoy some time on the beach.
The Bloomfield track was only just recently re-opened following the destruction last December by Cyclone Jasper. We did the Bloomfield on the way to the famous Lions Den Hotel. A cold beer was had, t-shirts and stickers bought and then we headed back over the Bloomfield in the dark! It was a late night getting back across the ferry and back to Port Douglas. Another great adventure and several bucket list places ticked off the list.

Any tips for dust proofing a Jayco Outback Expanda would be appreciated or just any tips for dust proofing in general as in a couple of weeks we will be tackling Cape York. We are taking the caravan all the way to Punsand Bay! Wish us luck....
