Sharing Our ABA Journey: Understanding It’s Not the Same for Every Autistic Child

I’m sharing our personal journey with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to shed light on what it’s really been like for our family. For those who are on the fence or believe ABA is harmful, I hope this perspective shows that every child on the autism spectrum is different, and so is their experience with therapy.

For us, ABA has been a positive tool, tailored to our child’s unique needs, helping him grow and develop essential skills. It’s about respect, understanding, and meeting him where he is.

💬 Let’s have an open, respectful conversation in the comments. What has your experience been like?
