In the US, peanut stocks decreased from 4.36 to 4.30 billion pounds

USDA has released a new report, "Peanut Stocks and Processing." In December 2024, Peanut stocks were worth 4.30 billion pounds. A year earlier, this value was 4.36 billion pounds.

The report says,
"Shelled peanuts on hand totaled 581 million pounds of farmer stock equivalent. Roasting stock totaled
32.2 million pounds.

Millings in December totaled 419 million pounds. Millings by type were 46.3 million pounds of Virginias and Valencias,
365 million pounds of Runners, and 8.54 million pounds of Spanish."
