Trump Press Sec. Karoline Leavitt Announces Welcome of "New Media" to Press Briefings

In her first press briefing as Donald Trump's press secretary on Monday, Karoline Leavitt announced the ability for new media to apply for White House press credentials and a "New Media Seat" in the White House press room to reflect the growing distrust of mainstream media and support of online and alternative media among the American public.
