Japan's Satisfying Building Demolition Technology

This was the most satisfying building demolition I've seen, until I came to Japan.

So skyscrapers are no longer needed in the US, they are usually destroyed with a quick implosion. But this takes months to plan. Cuz engineers need to carefully place the explosives so that the building falls in on itself. That requires very detailed knowledge of the materials and design.

It's a careful demolition that's appears quiet and harmonious on the outside. But brutal hard work on the inside. Here you see the crew dismantling the building floor by floor. They use jack's to hold the ceiling up while they dig out the support columns. This takes months, but
