3 Dead, 2 Police Injured In Shooting at Indiana Grocery Store

A shooting at a grocery store in northern Indiana has left three people dead, including the suspected shooter, and two police officers wounded. Police say they got a 911 call at about 5:30 on Monday evening about a shooting at the store in Elkhart. When officers arrived, they found two people dead inside the store. That’s when, they say, they found the gunman, got into a shootout and the suspect was shot and killed. The officers were taken to hospitals with gunshot wounds. One has since been released and the other is in stable condition. Elkhart is about 15 miles east of South Bend, Indiana.
