In 1972, the Club of Rome launched the book "The Limits to Growth" which was translated into 37 languages. It examines the factors which limit human economic and population growth and outlines the steps necessary for achieving a balance.

Almost twenty years later in 1991, shortly after the collapse of communism and the end of the Cold War, the 'Club of Rome' released a document titled 'The First Global Revolution', in which they declared "global warming" as the new pretext to wage war on humanity, under the guise of "saving the planet.”

In “The First Global Revolution” it says:
“The Common Enemy Of Humanity Is Man

In searching for a new enemy to unite us, we came up with the idea that pollution, the threat of global warming, water shortages, famine and the like would fit the bill....”
