How to Configure Pre/Post Scripts

In this BDRSuite Feature video, we’ll guide you through enabling and managing Pre/Post Backup Scripts for your backup jobs. This feature allows you to run custom scripts before or after the backup schedule, adding automation and flexibility to your backup processes.

Steps Covered:

1. In the BDRSuite Backup Server, navigate to the 'Backup Configuration' section.
2. Select the 'Pre/Post Scripts' option and enable script execution.
3. Choose between 'Require Successful Script Execution' or 'Ignore Script Execution Failure' options based on your needs.
4. Enter script details, including the script path, arguments, working directory, and timeout settings for both pre and post-scripts.
5. Save your configuration to complete the setup.
